
SPEEA ACE Childcare Grant
The Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC), in collaboration with the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace's (SPEEA) Aerospace Career Enhancement (ACE) program, is introducing a Childcare Assistance grant to support student parents pursuing aerospace-related degrees at select universities across Washington State.

Eligibility
- Eligible students must be attending one of the participating institutions listed below and pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree, in support of achieving a career in the aerospace industry.
- Flight school students are not eligible. Running start program participants are not eligible.
- Students must have one or more dependent children in need of childcare.

To be eligible, a student must be attending one of the participating institutions listed below, and pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree, in support of achieving a career in the aerospace industry.

- Washington State University
- Western Washington University
- Central Washington University
- Eastern Washington University
- The Evergreen State College
Award
Award
Recipients may be awarded up to $5,000, per academic year, to be used for childcare assistance.
Funding for this program is limited ($144,000) and eligible students will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
Selected awardees will have funds distributed directly to their childcare providers. The childcare facility must be licensed, or can be an individual who is registered with Family, Friend and Neighbor Care.
