The 12th Year Campaign can help you with two important steps you need to take to go to college: applying for college and applying for financial aid. The first step is to file a FAFSA or WASFA financial aid application.

Do you have errors on your 2024-25 FAFSA? The Washington Student Achievement Council is here to help! Join us as we walk through three of the most common FAFSA errors and how to correct them. We will cover:

  • What to do If a FAFSA form is missing a contributor’s consent and approval.
  • How to change the answer to “Direct Unsubsidized Loan Only” question.
  • How to add a missing signature.

In addition to Financial Aid drop in hours Wednesdays from 3–4:30 p.m., financial aid and several programs on campus are working together to host Financial Aid Nights. We want to help you submit your FAFSA or WASFA!

  • Eastern Washington University is hosting FAFSA Friday events throughout April and May. These events are open to the community, as well as to current EWU students.

  • Yakima Valley College (YVC) will host additional financial aid workshops this spring to help students and their families complete the FAFSA or the WASFA. YVC staff will be available to help answer questions in both English and Spanish. These workshops are open to the community and free of charge.
