Council to examine equity in postsecondary education during COVID-19 crisis

Olympia—At its meeting on May 27, the Washington Student Achievement Council will apply an equity lens to examine trends in student outcomes. Specifically, the council will consider enrollment, student success, and new risks resulting from the public health and economic crises.
A panel of students will provide insight into how they and their peers are experiencing the impacts of COVID-19. The council will also hear an update on pathways between K-12 and postsecondary education.
The meeting will take place via Zoom, beginning at 8 a.m. The Council will adjourn after public comment, which is scheduled at 11:55 a.m. All meeting materials will be available online on the day of the meeting.
