Greater Spokane Incorporated will present to council on initiative to help adults finish degree

February 1, 2017

Olympia—At its meeting on Feb. 8, the Washington Student Achievement Council will hear from Greater Spokane Incorporated about the Greater Minds education initiative, which is aimed at helping working adults return to school and finish their degree. The council will discuss this community initiative in the context of statewide strategies to reengage working-age adults in postsecondary education.

The meeting will also include updates on legislative session and a presentation on the 2017 Roadmap project plan.

She is the deputy superintendent at OSPI and replaces Dr. Gil Mendoza, who has served as the OSPI representative since 2014.
