Council to discuss proposals to expand educational attainment

Olympia—On Monday, August 23, the Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC) will discuss several legislative proposals designed to meet the state’s postsecondary goal: that 70% of Washington residents will have some form of postsecondary credential.
The Council’s conversation will focus on proposals that can alleviate the adverse impacts of the COVID pandemic and address racial inequities.
The Council will forward selected proposals for legislative consideration in 2022.
The public will have opportunities to comment during the meeting. Those who plan to attend should register on Zoom prior.
