Free means free! Get money you don't have to pay back
with WA Grant

We proudly partner with Washington College Grant (WA Grant), which gives eligible Washington students more money for more types of education like certificate programs, job training, apprenticeships, or college. WA Grant is not a loan, which means you don’t have to worry about lingering debt. Money can be used to pay for tuition, school supplies, and living expenses. The amount you receive depends on family size, income, and the cost of your school or program—and it is yours to pursue your dreams.

For example, in 2025-26, if your family of four makes:

  • $78,500 or less, your college or career training could be free!
  • Up to $131,000, you could get some money for college or training.
