High School Students and Families

Now that you are a junior or senior in high school,  it’s time to start thinking about college.  As a College Bound student it is important that you understand the financial aid process – what forms you need to complete and what deadlines you need to meet, in order to access the Scholarship.

Below are resources that will help you get started and stay on track. The process isn’t complicated, but you must understand it and follow through.  Share the information with your parents, guardians, and counselors and ask them to help you.

Information for College Bound students who are not U.S. citizens

To receive federal or state financial aid, you must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.  Participants in the Deferred Action program are not eligible for federal and state financial aid because their citizenship status has not changed. But, even if you don't qualify, other higher education options are available.
